What if I move to a new address?
As long as you are moving to an area that we service, we will help you relocate your system. For a small fee, we will move, transport, and reinstall your system at your new address. Please let us know 30 days in advance that you are moving.
Do I get a discount for referrals?
If a referral you send us signs a contract with Smart Shield Systems, we will give you 2 free months of monitoring service. Referrals are cumulative, and so you receive 2 months of free monitoring for each referral.
What happens if a burglar tries to enter my property and you can’t contact me?
There is no need to worry if you are unavailable. We provide monitoring 24 hours a day. In the event of an issue, we will inform the police, fire department, or other relevant authority. We will also notify you via text and through the phone contacts you have provided. If you are unavailable, or for any other reason we cannot reach you, we will leave a message, call your other emergency contacts, and follow up with you.
