Smart Shield Systems
Thin Door/Window Sensor(DW10)
A slim, surface-mount wireless contact made for tight trim. The 2GIG-DW10-345 is only ¾″ wide, uses a strong rare-earth magnet, and supports both the built-in reed and an external N/C input—so one sensor can provide two zones of protection. It’s fully supervised, battery powered, and designed for reliable 345 MHz performance.

Why Choose This with Smart Shield Systems
- Clean installs that last: we align the magnet for the correct gap, label zones clearly, and test supervision/tamper so you get dependable alerts.
- Two-zone setups when useful: we can use the internal reed for the door/window and the external input for a second contact (e.g., a screen or top sash).
- Right hardware for your panel: need encryption? we’ll spec the DW10e-345 eSeries version for supported systems.
Key Features
- Only ¾″ wide for narrow casings; rare-earth magnet included.

- Fully supervised with tamper and low-battery reporting.
- Long wireless reach: rated ≈350 ft open-air to a 2GIG panel (site-dependent).

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. The DW10 supports the internal reed and an external N/C dry contact at the same time, letting one device monitor two openings.
A CR2032 coin cell. The eSeries spec lists up to ~5 years typical life; the classic DW10 is also low-draw and reports low battery to the panel.
Published open-air range is about 350 ft to a 2GIG wireless panel; real-world range depends on construction and panel placement.
Follow 0.625″ minimum (about ⅝″) with ~0.85″ typical for reliable trips. We align and test during installation.
Yes—DW10e-345 adds eSeries encryption with the same slim profile. We’ll recommend it if your panel supports it.
