The PGx994 is a rugged PowerG 2-way wireless outdoor PIR that uses mirror optics and Octa-Quad™ technology (8 PIRs, each acting as a quad) to distinguish real intruders from wind, glare, animals, and shifting light. It delivers 40 ft (12 m) / 90° coverage, includes front + back tamper, and shows on-device link-quality LEDs so we can validate placement instantly. Pet immunity up to 40 lb (18 kg).

Mount 5–10 ft high; for UL/ULC listings, mount at 8 ft. We aim motion across the detection zones, not toward the sensor.
After powering up, the unit enters a local diagnostic mode. Each walk-test trip shows LED + RF strength (POOR/GOOD/STRONG). We only accept GOOD/STRONG (UL/ULC: STRONG).
