IQ Flood-S
Catch leaks early and prevent costly damage with a compact, wireless water-leak sensor. The IQ Flood-S uses a 6-foot probe lead to detect water at the floor while the sensor stays safely above it—perfect for water heaters, washers, sinks, and sump areas. Encrypted S-Line radio keeps signals secure to your IQ Panel.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where should I place the sensor and probe?
Mount the sensor above the floor (to avoid water damage) and place the probe on the floor or baseboard where water would first appear. We’ll help you pick the exact spot at install.
How often does it check in with the panel?
It sends a supervisory signal about every 70 minutes and also reports tamper, low battery, alarm, and restore events.
What’s the battery type and replacement guidance?
Use two CR2032 3 V lithium cells (approved models listed in the docs). The guide recommends replacing with the exact type, with a typical 5-year replacement interval guideline. Your panel will alert for low battery.
Is the IQ Flood-S water-resistant itself?
Yes—the probe is placed at the potential leak point; the sensor body is mounted above the floor per the quick guide to prevent damage.
Can I get notifications on my phone?
Yes. When enrolled to your monitored IQ system, you can receive mobile notifications the moment water is detected.
