Smart Shield Systems
2GIG Wireless Indoor Repeater
Extend your system’s reach in big or RF-challenging spaces. The 2GIG-RPTR1E-345 is an encrypted 345 MHz indoor repeater that re-broadcasts 2GIG and Honeywell-345 sensor signals to 2GIG panels. It’s plug-and-play (starts repeating as soon as it’s powered), and includes backup battery so devices keep reporting even during AC outages.

Why Choose This with Smart Shield Systems
- RF survey & ideal placement: we find the mid-point between the panel and weak sensors and verify link quality after install.
- Failsafe supervision: we enable optional zones so your panel logs AC loss, Low Battery, and Tamper—no guessing if the repeater is healthy.
- Clean power & labeling: tidy wall-mount, documented outlet, and clear naming in your app so you always know what’s being repeated.
Key Features
- Repeats 345 MHz sensor traffic from 2GIG + Honeywell 5800 devices to 2GIG panels (range-extender for large jobs).
- Encrypted eSeries design for GC2e/GC3e/EDGE panels.
- Plug-and-play: starts repeating immediately when powered on.
- Backup power: integrated ~24-hour battery keeps repeating during outages.
- “Repeat indicator” logic to prevent repeated-signal storms when multiple repeaters are used.
- Optional panel supervision zones: Tamper / AC Loss / Low Battery.
Product Specifications (At-a-Glance)
- Model: 2GIG-RPTR1E-345 (encrypted); legacy non-encrypted model is RPTR1-345.
- Frequency: 345 MHz (2GIG/Honeywell family).
- Power: 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz adapter; internal rechargeable backup battery (≈24 hrs).
- Mounting / Housing: wall-mounted ABS enclosure. 102 × 76 × 46 mm (≈4.0″ × 3.0″ × 1.8″); ~125 g.
- Environment: 14–131 °F (-10–55 °C); 5–85% RH, non-condensing.
Compatibility Notes
- Designed for 2GIG panels (EDGE / GC3e / GC2e). It repeats to 2GIG panels only (not to Honeywell panels).
- Availability note (2025): multiple distributors list RPTR1E-345 (and the older RPTR1-345) as discontinued as of Jan 1, 2025. We’ll confirm current stock and, if needed, propose alternatives for your layout.
Popular Use Cases
- Large homes or multi-story layouts where far-end sensors drop off
- Detached garages/outbuildings within RF range of the main house
- Long hallways or dense construction (brick, metal, utilities) that attenuate 345 MHz signals
Frequently Asked Questions
Typically at the midpoint between the panel and the problem sensor(s); we verify with signal tests after installation.
Yes—systems can use multiple repeaters, and the device’s repeat-indicator logic helps avoid signal storms—but you can’t repeat a repeated signal in a chain. We’ll design for reliable coverage.
No for basic repeating—it’s plug-and-play. We can optionally program zones so the panel supervises AC loss, Low Battery, and Tamper.
Yes—2GIG + Honeywell-345 sensors can be repeated to 2GIG panels with this unit.
If local stock is unavailable, we’ll evaluate alternate RF strategies (panel relocation, additional receivers, or compatible translators where appropriate) to achieve the same coverage.
